Mid-Winter Party!
Our Mid-Winter Party is coming soon!! Friday 20th January is a date for the diary. From 10am-1pm, families are invited to come along and enjoy our special outreach activity with an extended programme to keep you entertained over the cool season. The line-up will feature:
10.15-10.45 – Jorge The Music Man
11.15-12.00 – Arkem’s Story-telling workshop
12.00-12.45 – Kush with African drumming
Come along in Winter-themed fancy dress for fun, snowmen and reindeer’s welcome… Oh, and bring your torch or bike light to help us create the coolest “snowy scene” in Hackney… See you there.
Healthy snacks will be provided.
A small charge of £3.50 for one child / £5 for two will apply.
Welcome to our new Nursery Manager
We’re pleased to announce the introduction of a new post of Nursery Manager leading our staff team through an exciting phase of development. We are very happy to welcome Luciana Talpo in this role! Luciana started in September 2011 and has a wealth of experience in early years education and Montessori teaching which will undoubtedly bring a positive input to our nursery. We very much look forward to working with Luciana. Happy days ahead for Grasshoppers – HOORAY! X

We have a vacancy for a new Nursery Manager. This is an exciting period of development for the nursery and a role which would suit an outgoing and positive individual with a broad range of skills. Tea Party
This Saturday 9th July, our little Grasshoppers are having a tea party in Springfield park! We’d love you to join us from 2-5pm for juicy refreshments and yummy cakes – why not have a go at decorating your own! Whether you’re keen to take part or just curious to find out more … come along to say hello!
Sunshine in our garden
Story telling, arts and crafts, Easter egg hunt, face painting, egg decorating, organic baby clothes, bicycle repair, home-made cakes, refreshing smoothies and and a raffle with fantastic prizes thanks to sponsors Olive Loves Alfie, Route 73 and Clissold Leisure Centre… These are just some of the attractions that brought many a local resident to the Grasshoppers garden on Saturday 9th April for the Spring Fair 2011.
